I finally read Ender's Game yesterday...

I thought the book was fantastic... definately one of the best Sci-Fi books i've ever read. The characters were fascinating, specially Andrew 'Ender' Wiggins. (I love the nick 'Ender' btw)

You HAVE to read Ender's Shadow. Completely changes how you look at the story--and makes it so much better. *smiles* Glad you liked it, though! Yaaay for finally reading it!

Yeah, what Luna said. Also, reading the sequels to Ender's Game is good, too, although they're different. :)

I second that. Overall, I think the Ender's Shadow series is even better than the Ender series.

You will probably like the sequel to Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead. Xenocide was a bit disappointing -- it was good for about 9/10ths of the book -- then the ending got cheeze-whizzed. The fourth book I have purged from my memory.

This is one of my all time faves, too! Although I have a tender spot for the sequel, Speaker for the Dead. It's quite different though, and heady as heck. Loved it.

Well, from what you said, it doesn't really sound like my kind of book...but there is precious little sci-fi out there that I actually enjoy reading. Maybe I'll give this a shot sometime, though, since you all seem to like it so much.
