What's funny is that right after your entry on my friends page is the Dinosaur Comics entry where he says "I really don't think dreams are important?"

What a contrast.

Actually, I've come to see that reaching for this dream or that one won't fill the hole inside. We all need something, yes. As nice as that idea is, that we can have the whole world, anything we want, be anywhere, do anything, experience anything, share life with someone special, whatever it be, we become complacent after having it a long time. Even going from new thrill to new thrill becomes old after a while. As humans, we are made to seek. Unfortunately, we won't all find the answer we're looking for. Never give up until you find the right answer.

When I was younger, I used to write long lists of stuff that I wanted out of life, dreams I had, what I was looking for, things I wanted to do before x age. I don't know why I stopped writing them, but I should start again and start going on random adventures to fill the void that the complacent life provides. Dreams are not meant to fill the void - a fulfilled life makes the void non-existent. I think the real challenge is to find the things which will fulfill your dreams and act upon them as quickly as possible. Sometimes it might take years, but then your goal is to find shit to keep you happy until you get there ( ... )
