It can always get worse. My "new" car needs at least 92 octane, so I've been filling it with premium. For the past couple weeks, I've been filling it at a steady $4.139/gallon premium. On my birthday, almost three months ago, I was paying $3.33/gallon for regular. In the last week, my car got an average of 22 mpg. Man, I should have bought a Prius.

I'm reading a book called "A Walk In The Woods" by Bill Bryson. It's great! It's funny, reflective non-fiction about these two guys hiking the Appalachian Trail. Such a good book ( Read more... )

A few days ago, I thought that I had come to an opinion already, but as I continue to work on this assignment, I find that my opinion is still changing! It's swung back and forth a few times already.

I will be SO relieved when I hand this in tomorrow evening.

I remember not being a Christian and being turned off by people telling me "you need God/Jesus/salvation" etc. That never worked for me. But now I understand their enthusiasm for telling people about their new life in Christ Jesus. I just don't want to become one of them, because they didn't help me.
