Woot!
I like the way you wrote Rat's father. A lot.

Thanks! Rat's father was fun to do, though I would have like to explore his mother more. Maybe this might spark off something more...we'll see.

That icon still gets me...I think it does because I did a group play thing once in high school and we used the pun similarly. :-D

Mmm. Yes. Nice Ratty. Strangely, I've been reading Legolas and Gimli fic, and this is a very similar dynamic.

Cross-species is good. I hope you manage to spark things.

Thank you. :-) Cross-species is very good indeed. Sparking things...well, we'll see. It would be interesting to try it.

Heh...well, I haven't read Wind in the Willows for YEARS, but from what I remember this is spot-on. And well-written in any case. Though I feel a little guilty reading it, as I have two little fancy rats sleeping in a pile not ten feet away from me at this very moment. I feel like they're glaring at me ^^

Heh, I think I'm going to re-read Wind in the Willows now. Thanks ^_^

Oh, but thank you for your comments. :-)

I remember the guilt. My first response when I was reading the book and the thought came upon me was an overwhelming desire to throw it across the room and smack myself. As you can see, got over that. *evil grin*
