 Sometimes when I re-read my off the cuff writing I feel like I write backwards.  I wonder if that has anything to do with Hebrew as my first language.

 Arrived in LA last night after a month in the Bay.

It was so strange to spend time in Berkeley/SF.  So familiar a locale, so full of true friends and family, but yet I could not shake of the sadness that I may never live there again, nor could I let loose all the associations of my last year there, full of heartbreak and pain.

 Just found out from Ed that he comes back tomorrow, not today.  At least I'm all packed and have lunch/dinner cooked already.

What I love about the South:  Its natural beauty (as say, opposed to the mid-West), its culture of generosity, how everyone says hello with a smile, and of course the all american accents.
