Went on the floor retreat friday and saturday, it was a blast. We camped out at caleb's church, which is really a big farm with a lake and woods and outbuildings and stuff. Tossed much frisbee, played capture the flag in the dark, told stories, and roasted marshmallows. We spent saturday doing service project stuff, all of which was destructive. We ( Read more... )

Google Books has opened up public domain books to be freely downloaded as PDFs, including stuff like Aesop's Fables, Dante's Inferno, and assorted plays by Shakespeare. Quality of the scans seems to vary (what the heck?), and the PDFs aren't searchable once you download them, but hey, they're free. I think they must be using some kind of automated ( Read more... )
