..I went to the bioscientists ball and it was the most fantastic night! -thats right biologists can boogy, we paid quite a lot for the tickets so we got our meal and a starter and a free drink as we went in. Me and Nicole had planned a BBQ for this afternoon. However the weather is shite and most people have replied (we made an event on facebook) as no-show, even those that live here.
So we are going to see if anyone is coming for tea and just cook sausages under the grill. Its a sad day.

And also I forgot to say Im having my hair cut Sat afternoon so theres bound to be a pic up if its cut hideously- in which case for the next few weeks I'll be wearing a hat/paper bag.

Feeling a bit better, not quite so grey.

Also went and got my ear pierced in town this morning, tiny little bar, very nice.

I feel gross, like my brain has melted and is running out of my nose and my eyes. Am dosed up on the maximum paracetamol and also going through tissues at an alarming rate. I was worse last night but I still decided to skip this mornings lecture. However I have to go in this afternoon as there is a practicle i shouldn't miss and to make matters ( Read more... )

One more sleep til the Minster ball, where Im going to freeze my arse off cos Im not wearing tights with the dress. What fun!
Should be great though, its candle lit with a string quartet playing whilst we enjoy our 3 course meal and then dancing. Bloody expensive but then it is in the Minster (live music in the crypt apparently). Yay.
