Whats been up with me? Moved to Australia, now an moving back. Enjoyed the 3+ years here, and hope to be back in Brisbane again soon.

Got to go see the folks before they pass, and see the grandkids before they're adults.

Back to Seattle where the folks live. A lot will depend on my getting work after I get back. If that falls through, I'll be back here in brisbane in October.

Went to Seattle to see the folks and kids & grand-kids. Tried to get work there but the economy is shit, so after a bit it was obvious that wasn't going to work out. Needed the job to satisfy immigration requirements for the wife, and with my immi status in Australia still requiring me to be in -country for 2 of the next 5 years... that wasn't going to work out either. So the whole plan was basically aborted. Now I'm back in Brisbane.

Sorry love. Were it not for me, your move back to the US could have unfolded without impediment. You would have found work in time, as you've proven yourself a valuable asset to organisations.
