Haven't been on LJ in so long.... don't recognize the place... kind of forgot about this place as MySpace, then the now hideous facebook took over. Anyway, moving right along....

Haven't been here in...well, a long time.
Livejournal, along with MySpace, had gone down the path of disuse with me a number of years ago. But with the toxicity that is today's facebook, I have come to see how this old platform is doing. Thought I'd test their new editor too.

As 2012 comes to a close...
I have returned to Live Journal. I see on my calendar that I opened this account nearly 9 years ago in 2004 after having to close my Halasian account. I also have not posted an entry on here for the whole year of 2011. Guess I've been full-on into the facebook for a few years now, and quite frankly have reached a 'burn-out' stage with that. Whats been up with me? Moved to Australia, now an moving back. Enjoyed the 3+ years here, and hope to be back in Brisbane again soon.
Got to go see the folks before they pass, and see the grandkids before they're adults. -

.... years since I been here it seems. Changing computers and favorites don't get transferred and many sites I was regular at become lost. Well, I imported a bunch of favs to this Mac, so we'll see if I come by here much. Looking at the activity of my friends, I see only one update by Ky. Its such a pain in the ass to try and cross borders to live legally. In the states the joke is you just need to go to mexico, learn a bit of Spanish, and walk north. Here in Australia, being surrounded by water, its a bit harder ( Read more... ) -

Yes, beer, that lovely mix of barley malt, hops, water, & yeast with maybe other stuff mixed in! Be it the great mega-brews of Anhauser Busch or home brew, I like the good ones. Since I like beer so much, I have quite a list of fine brewries of which I've enjoyed at least one of their fare... which I will share...
