The window is too cold so he's curled up in a chair by the fireplace, knees drawn up with his feet beside him and he's wearing a hoodie, braid resting on his shoulders. He's keeping warm because he's still feeling a little cold as an after effect. He didn't run although Winry's expression when she came in made him want to. "Uh, here."

Winry stands there for a few seconds, then walks over to Ed. Inside, she's shaking. But this is Ed and they can talk about this, right?

"Hi." More squeaking.

Edward's hands worry at the sleeves of his sweatshirt, there's no way he wants to talk about this, he wants to play dumb but he knows she wants to talk about that.

"Right. Hi."

"C-can I sit down?" Winry waves her hand at the chair next to Ed's. Why was this so awkward? Why was she asking Ed if she could sit down? Before he could answer, she took the chair, letting out a sigh. The warmth from the fire felt nice.
