Been a while..
Several of my friends and I have started getting together to have a weekly bonfire. We've all seen our marriages end in the last year, so the first night we burned a few things that belonged to our ex's.
I feel like something good is on the horizon.

My nephew (after roughly 2.5 years of speech therapy) said "Ready, Set, Go" today.
For those of you who aren't aware, my nephew is Autistic and he doesn't talk.
He will wag his finger and say, "No, no, no."
He will say, "Momma."
But this was the first time my sister had heard him speak a complete sentence.
I wish I'd heard it. -

We were supposed to leave for California on the 25th. Marc's work, of course, held him for 24-hour guard duty the night before. My driver's license still hadn't been renewed, and we still had no idea where the county courthouse was.
