It feels so immature to me because they are almost all books I read for undergraduate english classes. I didn't let them linger or soak in.

I like Joyce alright; have you read his poetry? Kinda un-Joycey. ha

I think we talked about this last summer when I had planned to read a similar list of books -ha. The Lighthouse speaks to me, or did, in regard to the importance I place on my childhood observations. You know how I'm always psychoanalyzing! Perceptions! Etc!

I might find that I have it all figured out in my old age and that it no longer holds me. Then, I will read The Waves.

Oh, man, 1 and 2 are favorites. If you're looking for something more contemporary, "The People of Paper" by Salvador Plascencia and "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer are the last really good books I read. And both sort of make actual art out of the physical book, something you might appreciate...

I haven't read The People of Paper! I am adding that to the list!
I loved Extremely Loud and so did my mom; one of the only books we agree on.

You work a lot!

I read while I nurse or while Elias is nursing/napping and then before bedtime. Usually I force myself to stay awake for a chapter.
