You must have described me as I see my own ideal, because I feel very complimented. Thank you. I shall change my middle name to "Relentless". I imagine myself, knife in my teeth, dogging my prey until it collapses and I fall upon, all claws and sprays of blood. :)

As for the rest, there is a reason Slashdot labels all anon posts as "Anonymous Cowards". Because they are.

You are correct in that this isn't the right environment for you, for either yourself or the company. You need to find the place where you excel, so that someday people say "Hank, he's XXX" and it's the thing you always wanted people to say about you. :)

Hank is XXX.
Everyone in the room agrees.

I was young, I needed the money! I had no idea everyone in the room knew about my secret career in porn, though... ;)

In whatever you do. It takes a lot of courage to head into the middle of a warzone, not to mention share your thoughts about it with the rest of the world.

In these times it is so difficult to be true to yourself that any genuine attempt to live your life in that manner precludes any possibility of wimpiness, just as a continuing effort to attain happiness would indicate that you have not failed. Keep on pluggin' away: try to be honest with yourself and kind to others: you'll be fine as frog's hair....dadoo

Hey!! Not all Jackasses are bad. :) I have always admired folks who take risks, small or large, with their lives in hopes of becomming a better person. I have read your posts, talked with you over IM and know that you have become a better person for the risk you took going to Iraq. Your friends are proud of you and await your return.

Ah, but you're not "anonymous jackass", you're jackass #1, and therein lies the difference, my friend. I look forward to seeing you again. :)
