Well, the whole nation seems to be having some cold storms. And, being just over 6200 feet up in Southern California, it meant my house has been getting a decent serving of snow.

Here are some pics I shot as of yesterday:

Thanks. It's always a pleasure when you enjoy my pics. And, wow indeed. Why 1992? Big storms there then? Or was that the standard then before climate change?

i built a snowman on my tiny balcony. so much snow!
snow is just so exotic to me. sometimes where i live we get a bit of frost in winter, but that's it.

Wow. I would have loved living in Japan for a bit myself. :-)

You do live an interesting life.

I'm very glad to be of service.

For Christmas (hopefully before). I'll be posting some circus and classic car pictures I shot plenty of.

May you and yours have a wonderful holiday.

How high is your snow there now? I've easily got two feet, and it's snowing some more today.

Coltrane, Papa and Jeepers The Cat are all resting indoors now, but, just for you, here's a pic of Coltrane yesterday surveying the snow from one of my decks:

Ha! You said you had more snow than I. It's up over my knees in many spots.

Let them be foolish in their teasing. You sound very practical to me. :-)

The bird one is my favorite.

It has been very cold here but there is no snow to make it more enjoyable.

Seeing a post from you though is enjoyable.

Thank you. :-)

Of course, you know, I don't think there's a distinctive "snow" version of bluejay. But, last week we had great weather, and this snow, which began softly on Saturday, caught a lot of birds before they could book flights further south.
