I met Guinevere and Arthur for dinner the other night with Lancelot. Maybe it sounds silly to anyone who isn't here, but I really believe the spirits of Guin, Arthur and Lance are in the new friends I've made here. We went on a picnic the next day and once again we were able to see the Lady in the Lake. It makes Lance so happy to see his mother

*finishes brushing her hair, sets the brush on the vanity, nods her head*

I'm ready. Where are we off too today?

I was thinking of taking you to where we fought the Tuatha. It's just a mound now but it still feels like where we were. And you know anything else you wanted to do.

[hannah_justus]

That sounds awesome. Let's go.

*follows him out of the cottage, doesn't bother to lock it up*

I'm good with wherever or whatever you want to do. Today is all yours.

*stares at the mound*

Do you still feel the power here? It must have been amazing to be here when it happened.

When I touch the mound it's like I see it happen again, it's hard to explain, but it's like the memory is burned into the stones here.

*half smile*

Well actually it was scary as hell, Guin needed to move the stone and there was all these people that really didn't want it to go and we had to protect her. I was so afraid that we'd never do it and get home. I was shaking so bad the whole time, but we just did what we had to.

*looks fascinated*

Wow. That had to be intense. I can picture it the way you describe it. I've never had adventures like that.

I hope you don't have to have adventures like that. I used to throw up before we'd go because you know there's no time once you start fighting.

*he rolls his eyes and looks sorry*

And wow you really wanted to hear that I'm sure.

*touches his cheek lightly with her hand*

Maybe we knew each other in another lifetime. Stranger things have happened.

*traces his bottom lip with her thumb, gaze locked with his*

I think you were the one I was supposed to meet when I came here. The one to show me which road I should take.

And did I? I mean tell you what road to take?

*kisses her thumb as if roams across his lip*

*nods her head*

It's time I reconnect with my home too. Home with where my family is. I understand that now.

*grins at her*

There I helped and I didn't even know I was doing it.

So, make your own ending. *smiles* We have the power to control our destiny, Lance. We just have to fight harder to win against fate.

God I hope it works that way, because it's really not been like that so far.

*he puts his hands on her face*
