At 47 pages (possibly more as I finish up bibliographical notes), the edits and final draft are at near completion; one more read-through and I'll be finished. However, I feel as if my mental state is addled. As I manually apply page numbers and scroll through for line spacing corrections, I'm listening to High School Musical (OH, NO NO NO, STICK ( Read more... )

Um, Yo Gabba Gabba may be the greatest piece of recorded television since HR Puff n' Stuff. The writers added just enough weed with a delightful kick of ketamine.

Indeed -- the entire thing is set up by them, which still makes me wonder how Nick thought this would be a good idea....but hey, I ain't complaining. Any program that can be so deliciously manipulated by The Soup gets props, period.

Indeed; I was supposed to submit in the second round back in November, but after some intense discussion about it I've called it off. While teaching is in the cards, it's neither my forte nor my passion, and to do T4A for two years would be more delaying tactic than something oriented towards the service I'd like to be able to give or any professional considerations I'd like to achieve. While I'm still worried about what's happening come June, I know that doing T4A would not have necessarily been a good choice.

That said, I may be working for Southern Foodways in New Orleans, so some good may hopefully ocme out of that...
