I've been watching "The Newsroom." In the second season, Maggie and Gary go to Uganda. In watching this, all I could think was why the FUCK would these two westerners press to go to an area during a time of heightened tensions, violence, etc...mostly for her own career advancement. -

Today I was called in to translate from Chinese into English my boss boss' (as in, head of the entire hospital) presentation for a delegation of Australians. Two hours straight.
