So my dad and i got to talking. He can't seem to understand why there are people without jobs even though they try to get them. I tell him its because theres simply not enough jobs for all of people. I tried to give examples, such as the great depression and whatnot. didn't seem to sway him. as i kept trying to explain it to him the angrier he got

Are you serious? I figured out recently it's almost pointless arguing with some people. The older you get sometimes the more settled you become. I snapped at my grumpy grandma and her feelings were really hurt even though she snaps at everyone all the time.

the saddest (not as in making me cry but haha thats stupid sad) thing was that i haven't lived with my parents for nearly a year and he told me this.

he called the next day and recognized that he was outta line and appologized. I think it was partially done because of my mom getting him to do it, but i know it was honestly felt by him too.
