I wonder you you're talking about. Whoever it is, I'm sure they have the right to make their own decisions, even if it means changing their mind, and I would imagine that it was bad timing when they decided to change their mind. And I'm sure they're very sorry, but that it's not they who are the asshole, but rather circumstance. I suggest that perhaps it's also name calling and guilt tripping for something that shouldn't be guilt tripped about that makes one more assholish than the person who changed their mind within an unfortunate circumstance.
