Good luck with yours! Maybe we can give each other tips, lol.

Just went to see a flat and was actually almost too scared to get out of the car, haha. The area was just really boarded up and rough looking. Could just be because i don't know it that well, but i got a bad vibe :o/

I found my current housechum on here - http://uk.easyroommate.com/ which worked out pretty good - i do want to move out now but that's not so much to do with my house mate and more that i just want my own little nest!

Good look with the job and flat hunting! Well, there are plenty of places in Liverpool which embody both the shooting and the burglary, so why pick between them? ;) I jest, surely there'll be decent places knocking about :) Oh, and the sleeping pattern thing; my Achilles heel! My sleeping pattern is a complete mess, I drag myself up for college after four hours of sleep, and it is not having a good outcome!

Thanks! The scary flat i looked at was in Tuebrook, so think i'm gonna give up on heading north - i don't know the north of the city that well - except the lovely Bootle cos i used to work there. Am now concentrating on Wavertree, Kenny, Fairfield, Edge Hill, Tocky etc. Any tips on where i should avoid, as a native? ;)

Ahh 4 hours of sleep not good, try Yorkshire tea tho, that keeps me going ;) I'm trying to go to bed before midnight now, and ease myself gently into a proper sleeping pattern. *looks at time* uhhh going now! :D

Yeah, even I don't venture up to the north of the city much, save visiting people. Haha I don't know about avoidance, but my cousin was house-hunting in Wavertree a few years ago and everyone was very convinced it was 'on the up' :) Just steer clear of dodgy back-streets and anywhere with too much crime scene tape :P

Ooh, tea, yes, it's a God-send. *glances at clock* Oops, we're not very good at this!
