 Shabbat was hard. There were people here the whole time which helped immensely. I felt like there was a reason to get out of bed so I forced myself. The Rebetzin was here Friday for candle-lighting which was a huge breakdown moment- she was amazing about helping Channah cope with why Ima was crying ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're getting help. I agree with your doc, take the sedatives and give yourself some time to heal.

Personally, I'm a big fan of throwing things. If you need to throw things, try to throw plastic things at the sofa, or go outside and throw rocks against the side of the house. At least that way you won't regret breaking anything later.

I'm davening for you SO hard!

Last night i went to the mikvah and today i took challah. both times i prayed for you and yours.

buy the way, an empty pop bottle is an amazing thing to hurl and hit things (not people of course) with! smacking the pillows or mattress or hey, even a tree. whatever works. best to do it dry with no lid!

I can't stop thinking about you during this difficult time. I wish I had some words of comfort. I totally would expect Shabbos to be really hard and I am glad you are gettin g the help you need.
