I love how autumn it's getting. Wish it could stay like this all the time. Just a little cool, no need for a jacket, trees burning in reds and yellows, that comfortable scent on the breeze... I could waste my years laying on a bench under one of those trees, listening to Doughty, inhaling the soft aromas of the world's age.

So party potential on Friday flaked out on me (he's done, can't be counted on to let me know about this shit), and I was gonna skip the church thing at my place tonight (free food plus my bro's home for the weekend) and go drink, but I couldn't get hold of my people to find out where the party was. Time for some sleep before werk. Those couches really aren't designed to accomodate two people comfortably.

I'm eager to put this new fan in my case, so I'm gonna make this brief. Otakon was awesome. I won the grand prize at the Geneon panel. Jon won OTAKON. Dr. Tran has a PHD in kicking my ass. I rode my bike for the first time in (probably) ten years today. There's a really nice trail in Bear Gap, runs next to the lake/resevoir. My dad and I went, rode eight miles round trip. Good times ( Read more... )
