tonight samy, me, jen, nick and my brother piled into the car to go to the beach. we never made it there, but we are sure FUCKING LUCKY to be alive.

thank you mother nature for keeping us here..

hey...to make a long story short, my friend was driving my car, it had just rained for the first time in months,and the roads were extrememly slippery because of the oil washing off on the roads, and we were going 5 mph over the speed limit when we took a turn on a highway ramp leading to the mcarther bridge, and suddently my car went out of control and we spun around twice and crashed into the concrete baracade twice. It is incredible how we did not hit one other person at that second. Scariest night of my life. We are all ok though, except for some minor hurting and thats the only thing I care about that no one died.. Thanks Amy.

So glad you are okay, Amy. Something similar happened to me when I was on my way back from Atlanta a few months ago (evacuating New Orleans). Someone stopped short and I skidded and it was a damn miracle that I didn't hit anyone or anything. I swear I had a mini heart attack that day.
