When waiting for a result of some kind (exam, job, application to join His Infernal Master's Legions of Dominion), I've noticed I tend to fantasise about the outcome I don't expect.

If you ever finish a very long and tricky job and are looking forward to all the free time you'll have now it's over, just remember that there are almost certainly a gazillion things left over, put off and set aside, just waiting to leap out and guzzle up all those supposedly endless hours of recuperation.

I was never convinced my what they taught me about introversion/extraversion when I was studying psychology. It seems to me to be far more complex than a simple linear cline, at least for most of the people I know well.
