Wow..it's been 2 months since I last posted...

I've been neglecting my LJ in favour of facebook and games I guess. I've also been quite busy with the kids since they got out of school. Lots of free summer activities at local (and some not so local but the stuff is free so we travel) public libraries and so on. There have also been free movies at the cinema in Gastonia. So far Livvie and I saw

I confirmed your request. Thanks! :) They are growing so quickly, especially during the last year. Olivia has gotten so tall and her face has changed. Less of that chubby cheeks look and more of a big girl look. Hard to believe they'll be in grade one and grade 2 in just over a month.

I love that you and Bill do so many activities with the kiddos. You can see that those are two happy...and very loved...kids.

I had just posted a picture of Olivia taken around Christmas 2006 when she was just shy of 3 that I found on the card on the camera my dad sent me. My camera had been broken since February and I even had to borrow one for her kindergarten graduation. When my dad sent me a camera that they weren't using, he left the card in there after having copied everything onto his computer. I got the camera via UPS yesterday and found an awesome picture of my parents and some great photos from Christmas 2006 when we were visiting my parents for the holidays. :) It just reminded me how much she's changed in just a few years and Wes too. I was looking at baby pictures today...such memories

There are quite a few venomous snakes in our area so as well as teaching the kids (and adults) that they shouldn't be afraid of snakes in general, the guy did give lots of information on some of the identifying features of the venomous snakes around here and so on. My kids haven't ever feared snakes. Back in Wisconsin I remember going to a library presentation when Livvie was little more than 2 years old and she held a fox snake and so did Wes. That guy also had frogs and crayfish and other creatures for them to look at and touch

We ARE having quite a fun summer, indeed. And most of it has been free of charge...which is AWESOME right now. :)
