is farwood better than nearwood?

Hehe. I thought about that when I was thinking about why someone (someone I know actually..and it freaks me out a little) would spell it like that. Did they have to walk far into the woods to find it? Is the wood that's far better than the wood that's near their house? How far away is the farwood? Is the farwood in the Far Woods? Should I call the branches that fall from my holly tree in the backyard Hollywood? I think about these things.
