Books I read in 2008

o1. A Dedicated Man by Peter Robinson
I love his novels. They're so detailed. This one isn't as good as the first but it was still an interesting read.

o2. The Host by Stephenie Meyer
I love this book. So much. The characters are amazing. Seriously, just go and read it. Right now.

o3. Camp Rock The Book of the Film
My brother bought me this for Christmas. Not exactly sure why. I only watched the movie because Joe Jonas is hot, and you can't really watch him in the book. But I read it anyway and it wasn't too bad. Nice and short, easy to read.

o4. Cherub: The General by Robert Muchamore
I haven't read a Cherub book for ages, completely forgot how awesome they are. I loved this one. It isn't the best but it was still a really great read. If you know any boys under 16 give them this book, they will love it.

o5. Shopaholic and Sister by Sophie Kinsella
I couldn't put this one down, it was so addictive! I can't wait to get my hands on the next one now.

o6. Stargate SG1: Trial By Fire by Sabine Bauer
Not as good as the other Stargate books I've read, but it was still interesting to revisit the fandom. I had forgotten how much I miss the characters.

o7. The Shifting Fog by Kate Morton
This is my new favorite book. I will recommend it to anyone. The atmosphere and presence of this story will surprise you.

o8. Charmed: The Crimson Spell by F. Goldsborough
I've got a couple of Charmed books from years ago. Never got around to reading this one. I enjoyed the story, it was nice and easy to read.

o9. Never Seduce A Scoundrel by Sabrina Jeffries
Omg this book was so frickin' adorable. I read it all in one sitting, couldn't bare to put it down. The story was interesting and the characters were brilliant. I recommend it to all romance lovers.

10. Only a Duke Will Do by Sabrina Jeffries
Just as good as the first. I am thoroughly in love with this series. I have already started the next one ;)

11. Beware a Scotts Revenge by Sabrina Jeffries
And I am now officially addicted to Sabrina Jeffries.

12. The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
Wow, Kate Morton is so amazing. I loved this story just as much as her first (if not more). I definitely recommend it to everyone! Can't wait for whatever she does next.

13. Shopaholic and Baby by Sophie Kinsella
This is such a great, lighthearted series. I always love reading them. This one wasn't any different.

14. Charmed: Haunted by Desire by Cameron Dokey
I would have loved to see this one as an actual episode. The old fashioned murder mystery is really interesting.

15. A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket
I thought it was pretty interesting. I really want to see the movie now to compare.

16. Love Spell by Charlene Teglia
This was such a great little story. The two main characters were so adorable.

17. Good Girls Don't by Shiloh Walker
Wow. Uh, I've read some pretty r-rated fanfiction over the years but even this book made me feel guilty. It was brilliant though. Perfect combination of sweet and sour.

18. Shadowland by Jenny Carroll
This was my favorite book when I was like 12 or so. I found a copy in a bookstore the other day and had to buy it. Still love it too!

19. BTVS: Ghoul Trouble by John Passarella
I really enjoyed this one. The storyline was really interesting and all the characters were very well written.

20. Size 12 is not Fat by Meg Cabot
Despite the ridiculous title, this book was actually pretty good. The storyline, for a murder mystery, was very original.

21. Until Forever by Johanna Lindsey
Lindsey is definitely becoming one of my favorite romance writers. Her stories are so amazing and different. I completely enjoyed this one as well.

22. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
It sucks that it isn't as great the third time around, but I still love it.

23. Glorious Angel by Johanna Lindsey
I absolutely loved the bulk of this story. Read it all in a day, couldn't stop myself. Then I got to the end and I almost couldn't bring myself to read it. All of a sudden everything was so rushed and unbelievable. Brilliant story, crappy ending.

24. A Necessary End by Peter Robinson
Robinson's are the most detailed and subtle books I've ever read. He doesn't need to rely on flashy storylines or buzzwords to draw you into the story. The characters are incredibly well written and the plots are so meticulously planned. It's impossible not to love an Inspector Banks novel.

25. Evermore by Alyson Noel
I liked this book, it was pretty interesting. I wish I could have forgotten Twilight exists while I read it though because I couldn't help comparing the two and that ruined it a little bit.

26. Belinda by Anne Rice
Wow. I don't even know where to begin. I have wanted to read this book for a very long time and I finally got hold of a copy. I completely loved it. It took me a while to read but I never stopped enjoying it. I read Exit To Eden in one night and always kind of regretted it so I'm glad I was able to make this one last.

27. Cross My Heart and Hope To Spy by Ally Carter
Read this in one afternoon. My friends little sister lent it to me and I didn't have huge expectations but I ended up really loving it.

28. Miles To Go by Miley Cyrus
I don't care what people say, Miley is cool. I loved hearing all about her life. It was interesting and written really well.

29. I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have To Kill You by Ally Carter
I accidentally read this series in the wrong order, but aside from being a little confused I still completely loved it.

30. Secret Fire by Johanna Lindsey
I read this one in about 5 hours. Completely loved it. The main characters were so adorable. The time jumps near the end annoyed me a little bit but aside from that it was really great.

31. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
I loved this one. Very interesting story, amazing characters. Can't wait to read the second one.

32. In The Prince's Bed by Sabrina Jeffries
Amazing. Loved it. Completely in love with Sabrina Jeffries.

33. City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
Still loving this series. Can't wait to see how it ends.

34. Captive of my Desires by Johanna Lindsey
It took me a little while to get in to this one but about halfway through it was just amazing.

35. Ready by Lucy Monroe
I enjoyed this one. The ending was a bit of a letdown though.

36. Marked by P.C and Kristin Cast
Wow I really loved this one. The story was so different but it had me completely hooked. I can't wait to get my hands on the next one!

37. Zen and The Art of Vampires by Katie MacAlister
It's been so long since I've read one of Katie MacAlister's books, I had forgotten how amazing they are. Loved this one!

38. Size 14 is not Fat Either by Meg Cabot
I really loved these novels. The title makes it sound like some whiny self help book but it's a really hilarious sort-of detective novel.

39. Fires of Winter by Johanna Lindsey
Loved it.

40. All The Colors of Darkness by Peter Robinson
Peter Robinson is a god among men. I would tell everyone to read his novels but I think it really takes someone with a lot of patience to truly appreciate them. So if you think you can handle it then you definitely should read one.

41. Phantom Desires by Bianca D'Arc
Woah. Letdown. I had such high hopes from the title but this one really didn't live up to it.

42. City of Glass by Cassandra Claire
OMG! I read this all in one afternoon. I don't know why I put off reading it for so long. It was amazing! I enjoyed every second of it and recommened it to everyone!

43. Wednesday's Child by Peter Robinson

44. Joining by Johanna Lindsey

45. Love Only Once by Johanna Lindsey
It will be a very sad day when I run out of Johanna Lindsey novels.

46. The Escape by Robert Muchamore
Love this new series. I can't wait to read the next one.

47. Don't Judge a Girl by her Cover by Ally Carter
Ahhh!!!! I completely love these books! I can't wait for the next one.

48. Eagle Day by Robert Muchamore
Just as good as the first. Can't wait for the next one.

49. The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I loved this one. The story is amazing. It isn't really a page turner though. I wish I could have found it a little more exciting.

50. Betrayed by P.C and Kristin Cast
I'm so hooked on this series. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

51. Chosen by P.C and Kristin Cast

52. Untamed by P.C and Kristin Cast

53. Hunted by P.C and Kristin Cast
I think reading them all at once wasn't such a great idea. I started to get a little sick of it at the beginning of this book but I took my time reading it and now I really want the next one already! But I'm also looking forward to reading something different for a change.

54. Crouching Vampire, Hidden Fang by Katie MacAlister
Loved it! Can't wait to read some more of hers.

55. Evernight by Claudia Gray
Ahhh just read this whole thing in 6 hours. Woah. It was weird at first and then halfway through the whole thing just gets turned on it's head and then right at the end there's another twist and you look at the whole thing completely differently every time. I love it. And I love Lucas. Sigh.

56. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Loved this one. Such interesting characters. Bella has nothing on Rose.

57. Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts
I actually read the third one in this series ages ago. Decided I should probably read the first two. I really enjoyed it. Forgot how much I loved these characters.

58. The Immortal Hunter by Lynsay Sands
It's so nice to read another Lynsay novel. I really enjoyed this one. Looking forward to the next.

59. Frost Bite by Richelle Mead
OMG. So obsessed. I love these books.

60. The Rogue Hunter by Lynsay Sands

61. Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead
Ok. Rose, Dimitri and Richelle Mead officially own my soul.

62. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Yes. I read it again. The 4th one needs to hurry up and come out already.

63. Wake by Lisa McMann
Pretty interesting idea. The writing was amazing but the plot wasn't so great.

64. Black Rose by Nora Roberts
Finished this series now. I'm really going to miss these characters. I might have to read the last one again.

65. Stargazer by Claudia Gray
Wow I really love these ones, maybe not Vampire Academy kind of love, but when I sat down to read this book tonight I didn't get back up until I was finished.

66. Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz
Hmm. Not my favorite but interesting enough. I'll read the next one just to see if it gets a little better.

67. Let Sleeping Rogues Lie by Sabrina Jeffries
It has been much too long since I've read one of Sabrina Jeffries novels. This one was just as amazing as the others. I completely recommend anything she writes.

68. Don't Bargain With the Devil by Sabrina Jeffries
Wonderful.

69. Need by Carrie Jones
Not bad. The Twilight similarities drove me crazy in the beginning but I really enjoyed her writing style.

70. Glass Houses by Rachel Caine
Pretty interesting. It was weird seeing the Vampires be the bad guys for a change. I really enjoyed reading something a little different though.

71. Blood Promise by Richelle Mead
Ahhhhh. I need to read this one again, it hasn't really sunk in yet.

72. The Hourglass by Julie Parsons
I think I would have liked this one better if I expected it. I thought it was going to be similar to a Kate Morton book and then next thing I know the main character is killing people. Threw me off a little :P

73. Alanna - The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce
Read this one years ago when I was around 12 and I always remembered loving it. Marissa hunted down the first book for my birthday last week. It's still awesome :)

74. No Choice But Seduction by Johanna Lindsey
Another of the Malory novels. I really love this series.

75. Tender Rebel by Johanna Lindsey
Anthony Malory is a god amongst men.

76. Gentle Rogue by Johanna Lindsey
Wow. 3 in 4 days. I have the next one in my bag but I think I'll take a break and read something different first.

77. The Magic of You by Johanna Lindsey
Ok, make that 4 in 7 days. I just can't help myself.

78. In The Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce
I can't get over how much of this book I don't remember at all. I read it like 7 years ago, but I figured reading them again would start to trigger some memories. I guess I can't really complain though :P Maybe in 7 years time I can read Twilight for the first time again.

79. Say You Love Me by Johanna Lindsey
Another brilliant story. I love these so much.

80. If Angels Burn by Lynn Viehl
I enjoyed this one. It wasn't what I was expecting, a bit darker than most vampire novels, but a little variety never hurt anybody.

81. The Brat by Lynsay Sands
Loved this one. Lynsay Sands really is amazing.

82. The Awakening by LJ Smith
I enjoyed this one. I prefer the show but the book was still interesting.

83. The Struggle by LJ Smith
Ooh way better than the first one. Really getting into these now.

84. You Belong to Me by Johanna Lindsey
I had to stop and start this book a couple of times because of Uni assignments and exams so it took me a little while to get through. I did really love it in the end though. Can't wait to get back to reading a couple of books a week.

85. Paradise Wild by Johanna Lindsey
It's still taking me a little while to get back into reading frequently, this book took me around a week, but I'm hoping I'll get back into the swing of things soon. Completely loved this story :)

86. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Re-read for the movie :)

87. Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

88. The Undomesticated Goddess by Sophie Kinsella
I loved this one. It's very similar to her other books, they start off a little slow and then once you get halfway through you're completely hooked and finish it in one sitting.

89. Tender is the Storm by Johanna Lindsey
Such a great story. I loved it. Need to pick up the pace a little bit though if I want to make it to 100.

90. Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella
I really love her books. I'll have to find out if there are any others I haven't read yet.

91. Wed Him Before You Bed Him by Sabrina Jeffries

92. BTVS: Here Be Monsters by Cameron Dokey

93. The Woman Who Rides Like a Man by Tamora Pierce
