One good thing about living on a subway line is that I have the opportunity to not brave the crazy-ass mall traffic during boxing day. I went to Fairview and honestly, the "people congestion" wasn't half bad. I do think I broke my personal record for shopping...just under 6 hours. Hey Fellow Canadians...do any of you remember disgraced Olympic Sprinter Ben Johnson? If you recall, he had his Gold Medal stripped away at the 1988 Seoul Olympics due to steroid use. It's finally over for me. And I have to say wedding season was pretty fun this year and for some reason not as stressful as last year. Having all the weddings happen in Toronto certainly helped. The weddings were a nice chance to get out, see familiar faces, meet new ones, and enjoy the moment of couples vowing to spend their lives together. ( Read more... )
