So, a week or so ago, Internet Explorer developed a strange bug. It goes obediently to any web page I type in, but if I click on the drop-down list of pages I have been to before, it freezes and had to be shut down using Task Manager. If I supply an address I've been to before by typing into the destination box, the pop-up menu appears ( Read more... )

Haven't had the problem, but I almost exclusively use Mozilla Firefox and recommend it as it's faster.

Wait, you're using Vista? I won't go there.

Okay, that was assy. Sorry.

I strongly recommend upgrading to the Firefox for Windows browser, though. It's what all the kool kids are doing. ;) (I even prefer it to Safari on a Mac for what that is worth)

That sounds so very virus-like...
It would mean that you weren't going directly to the page you think you are going to, but to an impostor site, which displays the 'correct' web page... maybe?
