I love all the details that we've had from the show that are incorporated in this. Ryan, Lana, even Lex's transformation into a 'savage' so well done. And the Kents as native americans and cherishing their sons--it was such a pleasure to read. I loved that K'El was un-afraid of himself and his abilities, and that he was so well loved and cared for.

I can't wait to read the next part!

I loved being able to let K'El enjoy his powers from the beginning, it was natural for a child of the sky to be different! Thanks!

Fantastic! I loved the SV references, especially to "Hourglass", and the love story between the boys is very gripping. Poor Lex, being dragged away by Sir Lionel (a great villain in any era!)

Fantastic! I love this first half, with Alex/Itahu and K'El welcomed so easily and lovingly by their new parents and the tribe, and coming to bond so completely with each other in their new and happy lives. You give us a great view of their time with the tribe, with K'El's physical gifts and Itahu's keen intelligence allowing them to contribute to the well-being of the people who took them in, making them valued members of the group despite their differences. Beautiful scene where the brothers make love for the first time, and I had to grin at Itahu being jealous of K'El's attentions to others. Nice touch, too, to include versions of Lana and Whitney and Cassandra and Ryan. But, inevitably, Lionel appeared to tear our fated lovers apart, and take away Alex's memory and apparently (only apparently, right?) K'El's life. *growls at Lionel* Can't wait to read the rest ( ... )

I'm glad you're enjoying some of my favorite parts.

And good grief yes, It's supposed to be 1585. I thought I cleaned all those up when I re-did my timeline. I'll have to fix it when I post to my LJ and SSA, I'm sure teot won't want to fix my mistakes here. Darn.

Thanks!

you had me intrigued and laughing here!!
such great names that you have choosen, they are kind of so unfamiliar for the characters we have come to love and hate from the show *g*

but yes, great incorporation of so many details, but this!!
//Milk-white eyes stared ahead unseeing as Eluwilussit spoke of their futures. "You are one, yet you are separate, together no one may defeat you, apart you are weak even with your great strength of body and spirit. Death will come to you and yet you will live again in pain and grief until blood joins you once more. Small into large, the secret shines, there is no sun and so it will share its light. One not of this world, the other reborn in fire, you will find no peace save with each other until the end of your days." //

made me shivering!!
