Aww this is beautiful. I like how the story tied in with the Kawatache caves.

Thanks very much! The Kawatche seemed like a logical choice to me, since they're already a part of the show's canon.

Quite enjoyable. Nice touch with the Kawatche and the healing at the end. :-D

Thanks so much! The healing was one of my favorite parts of the story and was stolen...err, strongly inspired by the "Talisman" episode.

Lovely -- really really lovely!!

I loved Lex the Indian hostage. This had the wonderful flavor of a true Harlequin story. Really good. Also wonderful use of the Kawatache people taking care of early arrival Clark after massacring the Homesteader!Kents, great detail.

Thanks! Lex as hostage was what the manip just screamed to me from the moment I saw it. I almost hated having to kill Martha and Jonathan off, but having read about a million Harlequin-type stories, I knew that was a familiar theme, so that's what I went with.

This was wonderful and in the true harlequin spirit. Kal pretending not to understand Lex's monologues and then seducing and finally the reveal of the caves and Kal-El declaring them soulmates. It was just a perfect little romance.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Kal was very sneaky, wasn't he? And Clex as soulmates is always one of my favorite themes, so I couldn't resist that.
