I have a sweet pool in the backyard, that I play in everyday, but I'm starting to think that maybe I shouldn't snorkel in it. Every day I play in it, I inevitably end up snorkeling, and then hours later it's like something in my stomach is trying to shoot it's way out. I don't get how a pool breeds any more bacteria than say, a lake or the ocean. ( Read more... )

I have this alarm on my phone that goes off every morning at 8:15. I set it when I was on vacation, so I could wake up early and go to Disneyland, but I never turned it off. Just shaved my face with a dull razor and lukewarm water. It's kind of nice just being able to half-ass things like that. I bought a new towel last night. It's green and smells like recycled koosh balls.

I bought a scale today so that I can have some sort of tangible way of measuring my efforts to lose some weight. I was sure that I'd be lighter than I was since I quit drinking a while ago. Unfortunately I'm pretty much the heaviest I've ever been. I've put on about twenty lbs since my senior year of college. How'd that happen ( Read more... )

I got my truck home today. I should have done it this holiday weekend, and I learned my lesson for being slothful. The powers that be made me pay for my lackadaisical weekend by having my truck egged, and making me spend the last half an hour scrubbing dried egg yolk off the chassis. Ick. So. Much. Protein.
