There's a huge stimulus package (like, $700 billion) in the senate right now. It's because "The Big Three" American auto makers are pretty much just failing hardcore because they don't make economic vehicles so no one buys them. So if the senate thinks that the only way to keep these major corporations afloat is to give them this money, that will entice the corporations to do everything they can to prove they need it. GM keeps laying off more and more employees, and cutting salaries for the rest. I was just wondering if it's all a charade to get this money. I don't really think it is, but it could be.
