NOT caught in a snowdrift somewhere
...as someone I befriended in Dallas inquired. Spent a pleasant 36 hours in NYC, including dinner at Khyber Pass (Afghani) and dessert at Dessert Truck Works (both excellent), and getting to meet the creator of my key pendant. Being stranded isn't so bad
I'm stuck in Texas for another two days due to Snowpocalypse II: The Burying: Bigger, Longer, Wrecking Your Yard and Your Cable (Vengeful Deity's Cut). But I'm "stranded" in a nice hotel, paid for by work, with 3,000 queer activists including a lot of friends, kinksters and other fascinating people. And the weather is pretty decent here.
