watersong73  and I are heading to Richmond for July 30-31. We're looking to do some history stuff, and to get some good eats. I welcome your suggestions.

Any great books of essays, history, feminist cultural criticism or other cool non-fiction for a very bright 8th grader interested in politics and social justice? We've already got bell hooks and James Loewen covered.

Last night we learned to play Bananagrams and called it a fairly early night. This morning we went for brunch with my mom, middle sister and her young kids at the uber-popular Lynn's Paradise Cafe. Last night we hung out for awhile with xentropyx, made mushroom soup, sat down with dinner with Mom and went out to see The Tourist, which was agreeably entertaining. Since the move, noticed threeof my Sandman books got loaned and never returned. Do you have my Doll's House, Fables & Reflections, or World's End, or my illustrated Stardust?

 On the downside, it took an hour to get a few cans of paint mixed.
