It sounds like you're keeping busy, Doc. *grins* Yet still enjoying it, too. I'm glad for ya.

...will they let you keep in touch with the little burned guy?

Busy is good, though, sometimes. Keeps me out of trouble. ~_^

Oh yeah. He's still in hospital and even though I'm not on his team anymore, I can still check in on him every so often.

Not all of it though, I hope. You need some trouble to keep life interesting. Just the right kind of trouble, is all. ~_^

I'm glad, Doc. I know what the little guy came ta mean to you.

I'm not sure what the 'right kind of trouble' is, kiddo. Care to enlighten me? ~_^

He's definitely a bright spot at work. Hopefully the new case will be too. I haven't met her yet, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

I'm glad to hear that classes are going well for you, Owen. **smiles** But you're smart; I'm sure it hasn't been too difficult for you.

Good luck with your driver's license. I'm sure you'll do alright - just remember to stay on the right side of the road! ~_^

Oh...you've got a koi pond? How lovely...

Not too bad - it's more of getting used to studying to retain knowledge instead of scouring for information for a particular case and dismissing everything else.

Thanks, 'Kai. That's one of the reasons I've been putting it off for some long. :p

Yes, the previous owners had one installed. I finally put a few fish in it, but they keep disappearing. I thought maybe it was Splot, but the fish are bigger than she is, and she mostly just likes to look at them...it's nice to sit by; the pumps keep the water running and it's soothing. I'm looking forward to the warm weather when I can leave my bedroom doors open and listen to it at night.

You're fortunate to have something like that so close by. We've got a small stream that runs through the forest beyond our property. It takes some doing to reach, but it's nice. Sometimes, I can hear it at night, if the wind is right...

*nods* I don't know that I'd have thought about it if it wasn't already there. I do miss living on the bay, though, so it's a bit of a reminder.

Thanks, Piper. It was a nice day. How're things going with you and your sisters?

Well, we all tried to kill each other a couple of days ago, but things are better now.
