I gotta place the blame entirely on the bros here, not the dogs. There is no excuse for the dogs getting out of a vehicle on their own, being unleashed in a neighborhood, being loose and unmonitored in an unfenced yard (or being unmonitored in any yard they could try to escape from), or being out on chains (any breed) or cable runs (some breed). Further, the bigger and drivier a dog is, the more important it is that the dog be under control at all times. They are being extremely negligent, putting other animals at risk, though probably not people--hard to say from your descriptions; bikes and cars are kind of exciting for dogs, regardless of who's on/in them. Regardless, they need to train and contain their dogs far better than they have been doing, starting yesterday.

They are also putting their OWN dogs at risk, because all it takes is one reported bite, and they have to put the animal down.

What a couple of dicks.

aww! i know Larry too! i was afraid, as i scrolled, that this entry was going to be about him getting hurt, so i'm glad nothing like that happened, and that Duck is okay as well.

You know what's funny? Larry turns out to be the cousin of the lady in the blue house who has the nest for Murgy. We ran into her at Cost Cutter. Small town, eh?

As for the dogs, I dunno what the leash laws are up your way, but it might be worth looking into.
