Compared with everybody else I know, my garden is just lagging behind impossibly. But I am ahead of where I was last year, and that didn't do too terribly, so we'll see. -

The Big Death
Alex and I love to watch this awful TV show on DVD, called Jeremiah. (Bill hates it.) It's so awful, it's excellent. A virus, called The Big Death, kills everyone on earth over the age of puberty. This is a great way to roast a less tender piece of meat

Compost
I like compost. I bought enough of it this year to prove it! I make compost too, I put all my non-meat scraps in a bucket by the sink and then dump that into a little earth machine out back ( Read more... )
