I do role-playing, but I do it on my own time. It's a way to get rid of boredom, but you go to far when you mess with peoples lives like that, anyways, i'm going on and on about nonsense, sorry.
Hello, Harry. Welcome back. It's been quiet around here without you. Sounds like you had a good Christmas! :-)
Here, here on the subject of the journals. I agree with both you and Draco (( even if his way of saying it seems to be a bit.. harsh. ;-) )) The way that the students ((Ginny, Cho, etc.)) have been portrayed is horrifying. I'd be extremely insulted if I were to see a journal like that about me.
But anyways, just posting a quick note to say welcome back! :-)
Thanks for the welcome! I didn't find it necessary to be as cruel as Malfoy was, but I did feel I had to say something. I was just starting to get uncomfortable, and I felt a bit bad I had led people on to believe I had any interest playing some game.
Happy Post-Holidays, Harry. Sounds like you had a great time at the Burrow, with Christmas Eve snowball fights and fireworks. It must have been a relief to celebrate a real Christmas with people you love, instead of spending it at school.
You know, as much as it may be painful to admit, Draco does make a lot of good points. The entire Yule Ball issue was a little bit rediculous, these people should definately do their homework or something. And, um, looking at "Cho"'s journal... crack open some non-fiction every once in a while?
Didn't kiss Ginny, huh? Tsk, and I heard Gryffindors were gutsy.
It was nice to spend Christmas at the Burrow, it's always a good time. I ... will admit, Draco does bring up some good points, but he has a terrible way of doing so.
We are, but she has a boyfriend! And besides, I never said I fancied her.
Terrible, deplorable, and rude; yes. Also: Funny. But I realize that due to personal conflicts, that may be the closest you'll ever come to complimenting him, so I wont press my luck. ;)
And who said you had to fancy her? You're friends, aren't you? Friends have permission to kiss eachother on special occasions, it's an unwritten rule. But if you'd rather not, it's understandable.
I found it odd that in hermi0negranger she was taking quizzes found on LJ and there were many of them posted.
I cannot picture the "real" Hermione doing that at all. Wouldn't that be a waste of time that one could use for studying?
Also, the grammar is terrible and the entries are not thought out. It's definitely a Role Playing LiveJournal. I thought I was reading the journal of a 12 year old (which it probably is).
Welcome back, Harry. Strange that I was thinking this evening of you and wondering where you were and then a few hours later... a post! I'm glad you had a good Christmas and New Year.
Can I say that the way you just said about the rp-ers is just perfect. No shouting and raving and ranting. Not that I have anything against the way Draco dealt with it. He was quite amusing as always. I had a point... Your way was nice :) Yes that sounds alright.
Thinking of me? Well that's rather flattering, init?
Er ... I tried to be as kind as I could while pointing out I didn't intend on having some 'role playing' journal. It sounds odd, but I think I'd be rather terrible at pretending to be myself, lol.
It's better to just write than having to read like ten journals to find out what you should write. Aw no, you're great at being you. You've been you your whole life :) hehehe.
