I was starting to worry about you;-) I'm glad you had a great holiday, I wish I could say the same about me, but it just wasn't so, not this time. I hope this year turns out better.

Ah, no need to worry about me. I hope you have a happy New Year anyways, it's a fresh start, right?

Yes, you're right, it IS a fresh start. I think the weather has a lot to do with how I feel, I mean, it's way too cold to go outside right now, at -32 degrees celcius, when in summer, I'm ALWAYS outside;-)

well, i couldn't imagine a dull break at the Burrow - sounds like you had a blast! Hmm, no kiss for Ginny, eh? Well, better luck next time mate! Oh, even though I'm in Florida in the United States, and have never relatively seen//touched snow my entire life -- GET INTO IT! Heck, I probably woulda gone a little bonkers...anywho - let's just say I was on a field trip to a beach one day and got into a sandball fight...ow ( ... )

Can you even make sand balls? I'd have thought they'd just crumble to bits in your hands. I suppose if they were wet that would be rather uncomfortable though. At the bottom of the pitch, (Quidditch pitch) there's a kind of sandy bottom, just below the posts, and sometimes during practices we land there, but if you land too hard you wind up with sand in your boots, and for the rest of the practise you're trying to dump them out while avoiding Bludgers.

Anyways, no, I haven't.

yeah, that does sound a bit challenging. yeah, sand balls have to be at least half wet - i remember this kid in 7th grade in my muggle middle school was going to throw a big clump of dirt at me(i thought he was joshing around) but it was this huge thing of mud that ended up on my cheek .....it stayed (my cheek) red for at least 4 days...couldn't imagine what it would have been like if it was a bludger. eep! :x

if i wasn't muggle, i'd think i'd like to try at getting a spot on one of the house teams (Gryffindor's mostly) and try out to be a beater or a keeper (more a keeper) :) but alas, i am only muggle :/

Glad you had a great Christmas, Harry. Sounds like the Burrow was fun.

Granted, I did the same and left all my homework until the last second, too...really puts a damper on the happy thing, deosn't it?

As for the role-playing...yes, I do RP Harry Potter fandom. I, ironically, play Draco. Quite amusing, really. But I'd never profess to do that on your journal. I respect you too much for that.

Sleep well, love. Don't wear yourself out answering comments.*cuddles*

Welcome back, Harry :)

Your Christmas sounded wonderful. A broom for Mrs Weasley? That caught me off guard- I half expected it was askginny's new Comet^^ I get a tad confused when facts mess with roleplaying details, blech.

I actually roleplay HP fandom- I play Blaise Zabini, from Slytherin house. Roleplaying with everyone was really just something fun that bound us together and it's quite alright if you don't wish to participate, I can understand how overwhelming the whole thing would be to you.

It's good to hear from you again,

-Delina

Well, I don't role play, so just remember that my journal isn't one of the ... 'Hogwarts' ones I suppose.

Anyhow, good to hear from you too, I hope you had a happy holiday.

Happy belated Christmas and New Years to you, good old Potter guy! Did you get anything interesting, or just a happy jumper knitted by Mrs. Weasley? I must say, I haven't had a good old fashioned snowball fight in a few years... and I'm not even an old person. *sigh ( ... )

I got some nice gifts from Ron and Hermione, and lots of candy to boot, which is always nice. I highly recommend the snowball fight. We don't generally get a ton of snow around here, (well, we do at Hogwarts) but not around the Burrow, so it was nice for a change.

You enjoy your New Years as well!
