After wasting my collage loan money on a car that doesn't reverse and being dicked around by the car lot, I leased a black '09 Nissan Verssa whom stark_black named Ishida. I bought a car! Yup, I now can join the ranks of those who don't have to take the bus anymore. My new baby is a white '99 Volkswagen Jetta GLS. I've always wanted a VW since I was 12 or something, so in a way this is my dream car. I finished my first book of the summer. Dean Koontz's "Phantoms". It only took me three weeks to finish. This is not good, I normally can finish two books by then. I tend to be a fairly low energy person. I don't like to cram my day full of things to do and would generally go with the flow. If I feel like going window shopping, I go; and that's about it for the excitement. Or I just do chores. There was a 4.6 earthquake near Seattle today. I think the news said it was centered around Kingston. I felt it, it wasn't very dramatic. My apartment building shook, well more of a weird rolling/rocking motion. No damage on my end and none reported on the news. It was pretty cool.
