I've started reading Middlemarch for the second time. First book, book, I've picked up, since I got all busy with life and didn't finish Anne Rice's Armand. Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on. I really should have sooner. If it wasn't nearly midnight, when I should be sleeping, with work looming on the horizon, I'd take this time to catch up with some people, but I'm here because I need to post. I'd keep pushing how far I could stretch myself, to be the bridge between an ever widening gully, so that others could get to the "grassier" side. It's not so easy to make the distinction between where that line is, between covering the distance, while still being strong enough that you can support the weight of the others crossing your back. I really don't have a problem with sudden changes of topic. Personally, whether someone is asking me if they can ask me a question or announcing they will ask me a question: I either end up impatiently awaiting the question or doing something else, while curiosity is dividing my attention.
