can anyone recommend funny tourist attractions in the midwest? please! i'm trying to figure out this stupid trip. right now i think that we are going to rent a car. it is stressful. i'm worried i will go insane

the dinosours are down here like a couple hours out in this place called cabezon. it's like in the middle of nowhere desert on the way to arizona from los angeles. on the 10 i believe. ive seen them twice! THEY HAVE DIMOND EYES!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never stopped by when the "casa de zoo" or "casa de choo choo" is open/running. so I can not vouch for them. I can however tell you, I stop there every chance I get , for their garlic pistachios, and fruit-things.
I know this is on the east coast, but, I had to mention it.

I think I will keel anyone ded who passes the chance to eat at/visit waffle house. I lurve this place like no other greasenasty fast food spot.

white caste has scary square meat products. they are in kansas and oklahoma, i think. sonics is an okay chain with weird soft drinks.

uh. yeah. I will now go back to the weath of traumatizing memories of my oklahoma road trip, to see if i can dig up anything else.

thanks, alex! pedroland is blowing my mind right now. there's a place kind of similar to casa de frutas by sonora, but it's run by psuedo-amish people. my plan right now is to head towards new orleans, then up to new york city, and back to sf. i have no idea what to do on the way back, and i need any help i can get.
