1. Further to the last post about Draco in Leather Pants, what's the worst / most annoying thing you've been called for liking a certain character? I found a post on Narutoforums today calling Sakura fans 'battered wives', and we've also been called 'apologists'. And Hinata fans are apparently all perverts who fap over her tits and/or fat lonely

Yeah, that thing with the newest Naruto chapter kinda ticked me off. Which is why I stick with Mangahere. They chopped off everything from MP's scanlation after the actual chapter finished. Now if only they would get rid of the pointless fan-colorations at the beginning of the chapter as well, it would make the Naruto scanlation reading process so much more enjoyable.

And onto the pic itself. "Everybody" shuns him. riiight... So that chapter with Ebisu where the whole village was starting to care for Naruto (in a flashback) before he even fought in the Valley of the End meant absolutely nothing, I take it? Or the other chapter after Nagato dies where everybody openly accepts him/flashmobs him due to excessive happiness/hysteria? Sometimes I think people's fanon bleeds a little too much into their understanding of the canon storyline.

I hate how people forget Iruka. You know, the guy who managed to mentally separate the Kyuubi from its vessel, and not hate Naruto for the deaths of his parents. The guy who took Naruto out for ramen and protected him from Mizuki, gave him a forehead protector and sees him as a little brother. That guy.

This is not a bash on Hinata, but she was not there for Naruto in the same way Iruka was. She may have admired Naruto from a distance, but Iruka was the first person to actually treat Naruto like a human being and be kind to him. Iruka pretty much stopped Naruto becoming Gaara.

And I hate how the entire village are evil hypocrites and whatnot because they're all cheering for Naruto now. What are they supposed to do, ignore him? He saved them from Pein, damn right they should be cheering him.

And I wish they'd get rid of the fanart as well. Some of it is good but do we REALLY need to wade through 6 pages of recolours?

Yes this annoys me, just because a person tones down a character for a date, yes if you like the ship you could get angry at he or she, or if you see it from the person that likes he and she pov but call them the dreaded b world? heartless? This going too far cuz God forbid
a person tones down a character(a lot of time nicely) if he or she dares not like them back.

Worst thing I've ever been called? That's a tie between "You're a ball-busting, man-hating, backstabbing bitch for liking Starscream" and "You're a window-creeping misogynist who fantasizes about doing bodily harm to all the women who never went out with you for liking Jason Voorhees." Maybe I should take a poll to figure out which one is betterer. :)

The whole idea of "friendzoning" is offensive on so many levels. So you're only supposed to be a respectful human being/help those in trouble if you're going to get sex in return, and if someone else is a respectful human being/helps you when you're in trouble, unless they intend to sleep with you, they are "leading you on?" Maybe it's a good thing I'm a ball-busting misogynist man-hating bitch window-creeper.

OK, that Starscream thing is weird. By that logic, I'm a misogynist for liking Nnoitra Gilga, a mass murderer for liking the Master and Sailor Galaxia, and a godmoding troll for liking Discord. Etc. Doesn't Jason kill men too?

I've been friendzoned, and I got over it. I'm still in touch with both the guys. It hurts when someone you love doesn't reciprocate, but that's life, and I wanted to be friends with both of them regardless of that.

Mixed-sex friendships are not all about the fucking. Men and women can be platonic friends. Ugh.

Yup, Jason does indeed kill men. In fact, while viewers' personal squicks vary, the series death I personally found the most disturbing was Lawrence's, in '09: Jason deliberately wounds him so he'll take a long time to bleed out, hoping his screams for help will lure other victims into the woods. 1) Actually not only men are vying for Nice Guy (TM)-ism; I've found many women who also defend such repellent thoughts. In Madoka Magica, people were bashing Kamijou and Hitomi because they dared get together (and Hitomi also dared to be straightforward and go for the guy she wanted) when Sayaka was so very in love with him, did lots of things for him, and ultimately turned into a witch. Nevermind that Sayaka's downfall was not ONLY caused due to not having the dude she liked (and believing things were like that actually flattens Sayaka's character and conflicts likewhoa), nevermind that Sayaka was warned AGAINST using her wish to Kamijou's benefits and he uiltimately didn't even KNOW what she did, nevermind that Kamijou did NOT owe Sayaka cock even with all the things she did, people would reduce the conflict to merely "BAW BAW HE DOESN'T LOVE HER LIKE SHE DESERVES FOR DOING ALL FOR HIM." And that is a fandom full of women... women who openly support Nice Guy(tm)-like moralities

I never got why some people are so obsessed with that pairing, apart from the fact it keeps Orihime away from Ichigo. If anything, I thought ChadHime had more going for it. Ishida does like Orihime as a mate, but he doesn't come across as being in love with her.
