1. Further to the last post about Draco in Leather Pants, what's the worst / most annoying thing you've been called for liking a certain character? I found a post on Narutoforums today calling Sakura fans 'battered wives', and we've also been called 'apologists'. And Hinata fans are apparently all perverts who fap over her tits and/or fat lonely

Not exactly a character and not exactly a name, but I've been told by someone who prefers the Claremont-era X-Men that she'd line her carpet with my intestines or something like that because I prefer the Morrison-era X-Men.

2. Because love and sex are something you deserve after being nice ofc, how can you not see that? /sarcasm

It is quite frankly one of the worst shipping arguments I have ever come across. That you are somehow obligated to like someone back. Be nice to someone who has helped you? Sure. But obliged to return their feelings? That's when you lose me.

I've been told I deserve to die for liking Quess Paraya, and have been told countless times to "shut up, no one cares" if I try to defend Ghinius in a discussion (even though bashing is a-okay). A friend of mine even told me it wasn't a good idea to post an essay I wrote about Ghinius on a forum because people might flip their shit because him being argued as anything other than a shallow monster is just too much for the Gundam fandom to handle or some shit. Like the shit-flipping of other people would somehow be my fault instead of theirs.

The impression I get from them is that because my view is in the minority, it doesn't deserve to be heard/isn't valid.

I've also been called a Pants'er, that I had shit taste, and generally not treated with respect because of the characters I like.
