teething problems

I'm seriously in love with my new laptop. I've finally joined the rest of the 21st century and one of these days I may even get myself properly connected. In the mean time I've discovered that all the Cibo stores in Adelaide are hotspots. As if I needed another excuse. I bought the MacBook after much procrastination and I'm completely taken in with ( Read more... )

It must be really light for you to be able to carry around. Mine is like heaving around a large cutting board made of stone (although I didn't buy it for its weight).

Not really. I'm just building up my muscles :)

The guy at JB Hi Fi (where I bought the Mac because the Next Byte people in the city were so unfriendly) threw in a groovy bag for free after I asked him lots of dumb questions and then bought software and other junk. So I have to lug it about because the bag's so lovely and I'm too slack to get connected properly at home in a hurry. Plus I'm supposed to be moving house one of these days which means I'd have to do it all over again. Plus, Cibos coffee!

I bought a new laptop about a year ago, and am still in love with it!!

Well, apart from Vista ... and that I have a continuing love/hate relationship with, which mainly ends up in HATE!!

I've heard that about Vista from a few people now. One of the reasons I bought a Mac (though mostly I'm just a sucker for marketing).

It's so nice having something portable, and something I'm not swearing at over collection databases or something similar.
