This morning we meet with Ms Vicki from the Galveston Historical Foundation about procuring one of the mansions as our wedding venue! Hopefully the one we want will be available on the special day we want! Wish us luck!

  I would just like to ask everyone to keep me and my prince in your prayers. We live in Galveston Tx and are staying at my sisters house at present. We are unable to return to the Island thanks to hurricane Ike. We did make it in for the "look and see" and the first story of our house was completely flooded.  Hope everyone had  a good one!
   I had a GREAT one! We always take the day off and try to stay at our favorite B&B in Galveston "The Mermaid and the Dolphin"  This year we stayed in the lovely Muirmaid's Rendezvous room.
