Happy New Year

There is a rather large Asian influence here on Oahu. On December 31 I got to witness first hand what a Hawaii New Year is like, fireworks from before dusk to about 2 in the morning. Or you could smack her for thinking that New Year's has ANYTHING to do with Christian religion. *SMACK* "It's the beginning of a new year bitch, not Christ's barmitzvah or anything. Oh you didn't know that Jesus was Jewish? *smack* Go celebrate the CHinese new year because it is pretty and a celebration of different culture not religion. and just for good measure. *smack*"

I thought New Year's Day was a Pagan Holiday; the traditional Feast of Bowl Games.

I think her husband just didn't want her to catch him leering at all the asian girls. Come to think of it, what did he wind up doing that evening? Prayer meeting perhaps?
