1. Watched the sun rise over the Ponte Vecchio
2. Kissed my lover against a stone wall on the Via De' Girolami
3. Touched the Etruscan Chimera with my own fingers -
Get out of the freaking house once in a while
Every time NXNW or Music Fest Northwest or DrunkFest or whatever you call it comes around, I find myself drooling over the calendar and trying to justify paying some exorbitant amount for a bracelet that'll theoretically get me in to see a hundred or so bands I'd probably pay at least eight bucks to see all on their own... but then it occurs to me ( Read more... ) -

Looks like that horrendous cold/flu is just about done, but for a stuffy nose and stiff, sore muscles. I try to stretch once in a while, but the stiffness and soreness just sort of move from one spot to another ( Read more... ) -
Like I deeded to stay hobe adother weekedh.
Despite elisabetta36's accident and all that crap, I was starting to come out of my shell for a little while there. Made it to a bona-fide loft party a few weekends ago, saw a friend's band play, and got to bounce around and get a little drunk and talk with strangers and prove to myself that I haven't forgotten my social skills completely ( Read more... ) -
It's not really like that
I keep forgetting that caregiving isn't the spiritual, profound experience that I thought it was. When I was younger, I would occasionally run across people, therapists and so forth, who seemed to have this bottomless well of compassion and radiate healing energy. Just being around them for a little while would leave me feeling like everything ( Read more... ) -

Sun and clouds
The car's still there. The cheap 20-year-old car with all the baby stuff in the back. It apparently runs, it's not always in the same spot, and nobody seems to be sleeping in it lately. I hope it was just some sort of innocuous thing instead of the tragedy I imagined.

Couple of weeks ago, I was walking home at about 9pm and saw a guy sitting in a car in front of my building. He was sitting in the passenger seat. There was no driver.
