Depressed
Not frustrated with life, stressed about work, or sad about anything that is happening. No, I'm just hair-trigger irritable (at every little thing Jim does), possessed of poor impulse control (threw a plate because my computer crashed), want to stay in bed all day CHEMICALLY depressed.

WED - Open box I meant to send to Leanne last month, see if still seems appropriate, swap out with nicer baby items and books if needed, and ship off to Springfield (get cupcakes too?)

Sprung
My aunts and sister are all aflurry with spring plans and projects. For some reason I find it depressing and overwhelming. It could just be a lethal combo of PMS and inflamed sinuses, but I feel like a slug. A million projects stand unfinished around here. My own, glass-half-empty spring cleaning urges?

National Survivors of Suicide Day
Today is National Survivors of Suicide Day, in recognition of the particular pain and stigma of having a loved one kill themselves. It is also the 15th anniversary of my mom's suicide. First words
Simon started saying "Dad!" yesterday whenever he would spot Jim. It was so cute! I wasn't jealous. I encouraged him and repeated Dad a lot and pointed to Dad and there were grins all around. I only tried to insert a "Mama!" once or twice.
Then tonight I pick him up from daycare, carry him and all his stuff inside, give him puffs, give him rice ( Read more... ) -

with breast-pumping! Yae! The last pump was yesterday morning, weak and blue and weird-looking. Simon still drank it but I felt bad for him and gave him some formula right after ( Read more... ) -
Eating for One
I'm leaving for my sister's wedding on Maui in a little less than a month! I am so excited to have FRESH FISH! Last visit to Oahu & the Big Island in May 2009 I was pregnant and had to limit myself to two servings of fish per week. This just about killed me, a life-long fish-gobbler, but I survived on some surprisingly good Hawaiian Italian food.
